Welcome to the 2026 Bay Area Senior Games
Happy Summer 2026!
Welcome to another exciting year of competition, fitness, friendship, and achievement through the Bay Area Senior Games.
For California senior athletes, 2026 is a special year. It is a qualifying year for the 2027 National Senior Games in Tulsa, Oklahoma, taking place June 30–July 11, 2027. Every lap in the pool, every step on the track, every swing on the golf course, every point won on the court, and every goal scored on the field can help pave your road to Tulsa.
The Senior Games celebrate far more than athletic performance. They demonstrate the power of healthy aging, lifelong fitness, determination, and community. Every athlete who participates is an inspiration, proving that competition, personal growth, and new achievements have no age limit.
As in 2024, California athletes will have three opportunities to qualify for the National Senior Games through regional competitions in:
- San Diego
- Pasadena
- San Francisco Bay Area
Be sure to visit the National Senior Games Association website www.californiaseniorgames.org for schedules, results, photos, and inspiring athlete stories. You can also follow California Senior Games activities on Facebook and stay connected with fellow competitors throughout the state.
Our favorite motto remains as true today as ever:
Competition Never Grows Old.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to our Sports Commissioners, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners. Their dedication and countless hours of service make these Games possible and help create unforgettable experiences for thousands of athletes each year.
